😢I had a complete knee replacement op. I can't bend 10 weeks post op what do I do please
Good information
Aloha doc. I'm 6 weeks into total knee replacement. 5 years my knee couldn't bend . Finally a dr did the surgery n the best I can do is 90 degrees bend. Putting the injured knee on a chair n good one on the ground. Then they push me foward to bend the knee. Would your style work better
i heard a click on the second test along with pain.
Thank you
I've been doing strengthening exercises for 2 years now but my medial meniscus has now just torn, along with mcl. Why is it constantly getting worse?
These professors still relying on the falsified RICE method.
Nice ❤
A very good summary. The only caveats I would add is the second X-ray could represent someone with rheumatoid arthritis and could benefit from knee replacement surgery once all other conservative measures have been exhausted. And before submitting to knee replacement surgery, make certain your surgeon has performed a thorough history and physical examination ruling out other contributing factors to knee pain such as referred pain from hip arthritis or lumbar disc disease. These two orthopedic conditions could be responsible for some of the 15% of patients who are not satisfied after knee replacement surgery because of residual symptoms of knee pain.
Dr Bellemans, would you please provide a name and/or a link for your preferred unloader brace? Many thanks
so in other words if its bad enough your screwed...
coming up to 18 months after both knees done same time - both still painful one has nerve damage with numbness other has no range of motion is inflamed and warm and both are extremely stiff - walking is great if you love pain and if you love stairs- X rays show fibrous scars but everything is as it should be -booked into looks like a further operation- at start I was in a wheelchair for a month crutches for 3 weeks- has extreme reaction to pain killers so took none- rehab was done religiously including gym and pool work in vain - after watching video there might be hope
Nice ❤
I read about a Kaplan ligament, not sure what it is...
Thank you so much!!!
I wouldn't say that is 100% true, i could have done all those with no pain of any kind, I work on heavy equipment, run, squat lunge and much more without pain both PT and doctors performed tests and none of them hurt my knee even slightly or bothered me. The only issue was the locking of the knee and occasional pain maybe once a month. these symptoms went on for about 6 months. mri confirmed a complex medial meniscus tear to the root just had surgery 1 week ago. But that's just my case.
Great video. Concise, short to the point. Thank you for sharing
I have number 2. On the outside of my right knee I have a bone growing out that's the size of a half golf ball and my knee pain stems from this. Can exercise be a cure for this..

How would you explain the jigging routine to improve hip cartilage? It's recommended to perform 2 sets of 30 minutes...
Sir how can i contact you?? I have grade 2 acl tear i want to show you mri and need guidance, sir i dont know how i tore it, but it was i think 3 momths ago can it still heal?? I am keeping my knee bent 24/7
Nd. You okay?
But my doctor decided to cut my meniscus😢😢😢
Doc: Which part hurts? Me: All of it 😂
Thanks for sharing this knowledge.
Doctor can you tell me after how many days of injury we need to do these 3 tests?
Can patellar tendinitis cause nerve damage in the knee? I've had it for over a year and can't take another day of it. Doctors want to put a neurostimulator in my back but I want to figure out WHY. We know it's not coming from my spine.I've had a discectomy and a new disc in my neck this year. It happened after I was in one of those mega massage chairs...and ended up in the hospital for 3 days...long story.
What would a sprain/strain look like (for example if injury happened 5 months ago)
the opposite: doctors will try to operate and leave you with a missing part of your shock absorption leading to future ostheoarthristis
Very insightful information/video. ALL torn along with ACL completely torn. ACL reconstruction and Meniscus repair keyhole surgery June 22. Two weeks ago, just realized that ALL torn and +ve pivot shift.😢😢😢😢😢😢 Doc suggested having ALL reconstruction surgery. I'm still considering it. Busy watching Euro 2024 and the coming Copa America and Olympics.Maybe rehab could help.
Awesome video. Thank you Doctor.
Any informations regarding the spinal fusion material ? I had a spinal fusion, I insisted on having only pure titanium as I am suffering from mast cells activated syndrome. The surgeon used an alloy (titanium, aluminum and vanadium’. I didn’t know he switched his plan. I am in tremendous pain, pain is highly dicreasing after the start of an anti histaminiques and mast cells block protocol. Do you have any info to share regarding the alloy aluminum vanadium?
Thank you
Very nice, straight to the point video!
